Difficulties you may encounter when trying to use a CPAP Machine for the First Time
When your doctor wants you to use a cpap machine, you will have no alternative but to follow his instructions. When you are going to use it, you will find it extremely difficult to deal with it. The only way is to get used to it. During the first few days, you will not be able to wear it throughout the night. Try to wear it as long as possible.
Hanging the tubing from the ceiling may help manage with the tubing. Increase the duration you wear the mask gradually and finally, you will be able to wear it throughout the night. Using a comfortable type of a mask also may help.
When you tighten the straps, don't have them too tight. A few hours before bed time, you could wear the straps and get used to them. When you sleep, find a special pillow that supports the straps with grooves and cuts to fit them.
